Pledges are important to me because they help me
focus strictly on the three goals that I have, help me become a better person
by working on the areas that I need to grow in, and commit me to my goals. I
David Flores pledge:
1. To
work my hardest during the internship phase at Year Up by figuring out a
solution by myself without asking for help, and when someone gives me a task, I’m
going to rely on myself without depending on others.
2. To
participate in class at least two to three times in class everyday by sharing
classwork that I know, asking questions that I have, and sharing my answers to
articles in group discussions.
3. To
help out my classmates whenever they need help by offering myself as support. This
will help me better understand the classwork and remember it.
